Both my girlfriend Kriss and my mother confirm it...this is "Rose of Sharon" but...to my own credit...it does appear to be of the hibiscus family. Of course I researched it!Do you know how when you hae a new understanding...you see it everywhere?
Well...apparently this flower grows like crazy by me because I see plenty of rose of Sharon trees as well as hydrangea. I think, or wonder if it might have to do with the water table. After all, I am surrounded by three canals and the beach is less than two miles away....
