Well the skeeters have unfortunately kept me out of my garden lately. I go in, acquire about 5-8 bites and get out. Therefore, I have not gotten that far into it. The weather is supposed to cool down and by cool down I mean 80s...never thought I would say that.
This is the basil that was bequeathed to me by a neighbor. I am finding that it does very well in a pot. I am using the 'very expensive' irrigation technique of used soda bottles for slow release watering. I cleared it a little bit so that you can see it here. The reason why you can't see it too well is because I am using ginger ale bottles and they are green, they blend beautifully!
These are some of the tomato plants that were also given to me. I am doing my best to nurse them back to life! Also in the mix here is the dahlia plant in the background. This one was given to me by my father :). It is starting to show what it is made of!
