Peas

I didn't start early enough last year to grow sugar snap peas and now....I have eaten three of them. Sure it is not a lot thus far but I love them and I am happy that they are succeeding in my yard. I planted them by the deck, hoping that they would crawl up for delicious morning snacks and I planted them along the fence line of my new garden area. It was a lot of work clearing out that area but the husband and wife team did it and now....it is producing!!

Gardening

Oh how I love to garden. Growing plants reminds me that life can be simple and beautiful at the same time. I forget about time, stress, and anything electronic when I am tending to mother nature. I have decided that I should combine three loves of mine: picture taking, writing, and gardening. For a bit I will be playing catch-up but I hope to be able to look at this next year as to how the growing season went. Enjoy the pics! Feel free to identify some of my ??? plants. :)

It is amazing how much change occurs in the yard over a few months...even over a few days. These pics are from around Easter time as you can tell from the flag and I plan on showing the stages of the garden. I love the crocuses in these pictures though. First sign of the growing season!

Garden

I am thinking that when the ground thaws and the sun shines...I should throw a garden party! What do you think? Everyone would bring a set of plants either dug from one's garden or bought and we could trade, babble, drink wine and eat cheese!
